Thanks for visiting my online home.
I believe in empowering people and making our world a better place. My personal life mission is ‘to be an enduring source of hope, empowerment, opportunity to the world’. I am passionate about and actively involved in personal development, enterprise mentoring and coaching, mainly focusing on those from underrepresented and underprivileged groups in my community.
How it all started.
I was born in Uganda, later on moved and grew up as a teenager in Birmingham, England. I was lucky enough to graduate with an undergraduate degree in Law from The University of Manchester and a Masters in Management from Aston University, Birmingham, UK. I’m a jack of a few trades, simply because, I grew up with very little, therefore I had to learn how to be resourceful. I currently live and work in London, UK.
I’ll be honest with you, I’ve done lots of business projects that have been disastrous, however, I’ve also done quite a few that have worked out really well.
They say that you learn more from your failures than you do your successes. I have learnt PLENTY of lessons that I can share with you.
I believe that transforming your ideas into a business should be a simple, empowering and great learning experience. I run personal development and entrepreneur skills coaching and workshops. I share information and tools that can help you avoid the most common mistakes. This should hopefully give you better chances of succeeding. I offer personalised 1 on 1 coaching and group sessions, that can help you avoid the most common mistakes. Feel free to drop me an email to make enquiries on firstname.lastname@example.org
Mental Well-being campaigns
I am passionate about promoting mental wellbeing, so much so that I’ve published a book journal that can be used as ‘your motivational book journal for self-care.’
My first book is titled 52 Messages: Weekly Motivation, Inspiration and Encouragement that drives you to action. It was in London, after some tough times in my personal and professional life, that I launched the ‘Simon Says’ series of video messages on Instagram and LinkedIn. The aim was to share some of my positive affirmations, lessons and pointers that helped me navigate the trials and tribulations I faced at that time. This book has the same purpose. Visit www.52messages.com to purchase your copy and to watch the book documentary. Or just share (Go on, support a brother.)
What do I get up to these days?
My work revolves around creative entrepreneurship, digital media, fashion, tech consulting, coaching and mentoring. I am a keynote speaker on personal branding, storytelling and entrepreneurship. Invitations to speak, run workshops, or consult can be sent to:

If you haven’t already guessed, I’m a big talker and listener too. I love listening to and sharing great stories. That’s why outside work, I host a podcast show called ‘The Simon Tefula Show’ – Real Stories from Real Entrepreneurs – http://simontefula.com/podcast/
